National Criminal File Search*
This is an instant search against over 200 million criminal records covering all 50 states. Instantly reports results from multiple criminal record sources, including:

    * Department of Corrections prison/parole, release files
    * Administrative Office of Courts records
    * State criminal records repositories
    * ChoicePoint proprietary criminal record data
    * Individual county court records
    * Records from other state agencies
    * Sexual/violent offender registries

New criminal record data is added regularly with proprietary data added daily. Typically used as a supplement to a single county courthouse search, as file does not contain all possible criminal convictions.

Regional Criminal Search*            
Regional criminal database search (Department of Corrections, Administrative Office of Courts, and/or individual county in these regions for individuals that have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor crime in that particular region. Simply select "Regional Criminal Search" on the report menu when you begin to place an order. Each Regional Search is made up of 25 million to 30 million various records from multiple states, and allows users to select one of five regions to narrow the search.

Regions available are: Southeast, Northeast, Southwest, Midwest, and Northwest.

Statewide Criminal With National Sexual Predator Search*
Instant search of a single state’s criminal file PLUS a combined search of Sex Offender Registries from 34 states and the District of Columbia. Provides information on sexual offenders that are required to register as Sexual/ Violent Offenders in the state where they currently reside, in addition to the state criminal record data.

Information returned may contain: Name, Date of birth, Year of birth, Age, Current registrar address, County, Offense requiring registration.

Sex offender registries included in this search: AL, AK, AR, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, WV, and WY.

Statewide Criminal With National Sexual Predator Search PLUS*

Statewide Criminal Search*            
Instantly reporting results. Search state criminal databases (Department of Corrections and Administrative Office of Courts) for individuals that have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor crime in that particular state. Price is per state searched, including both the Department of Corrections and Administrative Office of Courts, if available.

Statewide Criminal Search PLUS* Includes everything listed in above description and the following:

State Sexual Offender Search  
Searching sexual and/or violent offender registries in states where available. Coverage is limited to specific states. Individuals included in these registries have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor sexual offense and are required to register in the state in which they reside. Price is per state searched. Processing results in 1 business day. Access fees may apply in some states.

County Courthouse Criminal Search (FIM)   
Search of felony including misdemeanor records at the primary court location (superior, circuit, county, common pleas). Information can return both felony and misdemeanor information if both records are housed in the same location. Turnaround time is 72 hours. Courthouse fees may apply; price is per county searched.

County Courthouse Criminal Search (FAM)  
Search of felony and misdemeanor records at the primary court location (superior, circuit, county, common pleas). Information can return both felony and misdemeanor records when housed in the same physical courthouse building. If a courthouse stores felony and misdemeanor records in separate index files, offices or floors of the same building, both locations will be searched. Example: Felonies- Room 101, Misdemeanors--Room 202. ChoicePoint will request background reports from both Room 101 and 202. Turnaround time is one to three days. Reporting delays may occur if criminal history records are retrieved. Courthouse fees may apply; price is per county searched.

Federal Courthouse Criminal Search
This is an in-person search of felony including misdemeanor records at one of 93 federal district courts in the U.S. Reports will return both felony and misdemeanor records. The following items are covered in a record search: subject name, date of search, search period, type of record, the court's jurisdiction and location, applicable charges, case number and final disposition. Courthouse access fees may apply. Price is per district searched. Turnaround time is 1-3 business days.

Credit Report*   
Instantly reporting results. Obtain credit history through a national credit bureau. Information obtained can include: name(s) on account, date opened, status date, high credit, amount owing, rating and history, late payments, and public record amounts. Employment and residential history may be included.

Motor Vehicle Record*
Provides verification of specified state operator license through the Department of Motor Vehicles. Information can include: name(s), state of issue, previous state of issue, violation, points, and current license status. Instantly reporting results in most states. State access fees not included.

Social Security Verification*      
Instantly reporting results. Verifies that the Social Security number is valid in a given state and time frame. Locates any other names associated with the Social Security number provided. Up to three residential addresses may be included.

Identity Verification*      
Conducts interactive searches on available on-line databases. Information returned can include: Social Security number validation, date of issue, state of issue, telephone number validation, previous addresses, nationwide fugitive search, and death master index search. Receive instant results.

Education Verification       
Contact educational institutions by phone to verify degrees earned. Provides verification of any specified degree directly from the educational institution. Price is per degree verified. Additional fees may apply. Turnaround time is three to five business days.

Employment Verification       
Conduct telephone interviews with existing or previous employers. Information returned can include: date of employment, job title, salary, reason for leaving, eligibility for rehire, and overall job performance. Price is per employer verified. Credential Verification       
Provides verification of specified professional licensure through the appropriate state. Information returned can include: issuance date, license type, expiration date, disciplinary actions, and license status. Price is per license/credential verified. Reference Check
Conduct telephone interviews with personal or business-related references. Information returned can include: years known and in what capacity, verification of technical abilities or areas of expertise, and strengths/weaknesses related to job performance. Workers' Compensation Records
Search of workers' compensation claim histories. Workers' compensation records are available on post job offer situations only in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
