Camp On The Cuyahoga River

The Cleveland Metroparks is giving children the opportunity to splish-splash this July, according to Cleveland Metroparks E-News.

The Cuyahoga River will serve as the backdrop for the new Youth Watersports Camp, set for July 16 to 19 for ages 12 to 15, and July 30 to Aug. 2 for ages 10 to 12. Both camps are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Kids will learn to kayak, paddleboard, and operate a dragon boat. Campers will also have the chance to build a boat from cardboard and duct tape, and make a water quality monitoring system.
