Past and Present Meet at Bart’s Water Sports

North Webster, Ind.—In 1972, with a love for competition water skiing, Indiana University graduate Bart Culver rented an old farmhouse and began selling Cypress Garden and Maherajah skis. With a promise to ship within 24 hours (a relatively new concept at the time), Culver’s enterprise steadily grew. The booming business moved to a second location in 1976, and then into its current 42,500-square foot distribution facility in 1994. In celebration of its 40 th anniversary, Bart’s Water Sports has recreated that original farmhouse, built right into the facility showroom. Visit bartswatersports.com for more information.
